“In 2023 Kindness is King. Leaders and communities alike, the world over, are promoting greater empathy and kindness in how we deal with ourselves, our planet, and each other.

Kindness is a strength, not a weakness.

Kindness, however, is not straightforward and it requires an individual with more power to exhibit it to an individual with less.

This is represented by the third line on the left of the central motif.

The team realised we couldn’t complete the final abstraction of the AI/Human collaborative representation of Kindness unless it represented a powerful symbol of hope for a better world, but also gave a nod to this fundamental asymmetry.”
